KuppingerCole names Courion a ‘Leader’ in Identity and Access Management

kuppingercole logoLeading global analyst firm, KuppingerCole, recently named Courion a leader in product, innovation and overall strength in the KuppingerCole Leadership Compass for Identity Provisioning. The report, which was authored by Martin Kuppinger, founder and principal analyst at KuppingerCole, evaluated 22 products in the identity provisioning space.

“Overall, Courion has a very strong product offering with a broad feature set covering major areas of IAM today,” states the report. “Classical provisioning capabilities are strong with a significant number of connectors also covering the more complex target platforms. Courion also provides exceptionally strong integration with other elements of IT infrastructure like SIEM platforms, etc.”

Provisioning is a critical component of an IAM strategy to ensure that the right people have the right access to the right resources and are doing the rights things with that access, and automating is essential to business operations and audit compliance. It’s the foundation of a comprehensive risk-driven IAM strategy that gives you a better way of managing your operations, security and risks.

Courion's Access Risk Management Suite is a single platform for managing user access to vital information by automating and integrating key IAM functions such as identity and access governance, user provisioning and password management. The suite is available for on-premise deployment or software as a service (SaaS) delivery model called CourionLive™. Courion also offers Access Insight™, the industry's premier access intelligence solution designed to identify, quantify and manage risks to vital information such as intellectual property, personally identifiable information and sensitive data.
